Geoff Hampson is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, having started or acquired a variety of businesses in both Canada and the United States. He has 40+ years of experience in buying, building, managing, and selling businesses in the construction, manufacturing, mining, marketing, and real estate industries. Throughout the span of his career, Mr. Hampson has been involved in over 28 buy and sell side M & A transactions with a combined value of more than $700 million. He is a hands-on business leader and a proven team-builder. He has negotiated multiple union, business, and purchase agreements, as well as domestic and international joint ventures. He has done business in many countries and has built countless valuable relationships.

Ms. Zhou brings in over 10 years of finance experience from private and public companies. She started her professional career at Ernst & Young LLP and has spent most of her career in various finance roles in the oil & gas and resource industries, covering financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, system implementation and asset valuation. She is experienced in financial reporting under both IFRS and U.S. GAAP. She was most recently the Chief Financial Officer of a private mineral extraction technology development company and a public mineral exploration company, where she was heavily involved in the company’s acquisition activities. Ms. Zhou holds a M.Sc. in Finance from University of Saskatchewan, with a research focus on corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions. She also holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from University of Macau.

Patrick Hampson brings over 10 years of experience in the construction and energy industries, with previous roles in business development and operations. As VP M&A, Patrick works closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage the acquisition process end-to-end, including sourcing relevant acquisitions and partnerships across North America. After acquisitions are complete, he manages the transition and integration process. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Calgary and currently resides in Calgary.

Andrea, originally from Germany, moved to New York City in 2002 to work for Art in America magazine. In 2003, she returned to Germany to work as a Media/Advertising manager for Sew-Eurodrive, a market leader in drive technology and automation. She joined Hampson Equities in 2008 as an executive assistant, and her role has since expanded to include office and operation management, legal and corporate filings assistance, and financial processing for the various companies under the Hampson Equities umbrella. In her free time, Andrea is a dedicated mother to her son Emmett and enjoys staying active through running and gym workouts.
